Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Stack'd. They are short because the app is simple: it runs on your device and keeps no copy of your data. The optional Bank Connect feature, which links a bank through a licensed provider and the Stack'd server, has its own two clauses below.
-
Acceptance
By installing or using Stack'd you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
-
License
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Stack'd for your own personal, non-commercial finance tracking.
-
Not financial advice
Stack'd is an organizational tool. Balances, projections, budgets and loan simulations are informational estimates only and may differ from the figures of your bank or lender. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Always verify important figures with your financial institution or a qualified advisor before acting on them.
-
Imported data
Importing a bank statement, or fetching transactions through Bank Connect, depends on the data your bank provides; rows may be incomplete, delayed or misread, and pending transactions are not included. Imported figures are informational. Always verify them against your bank's own records.
-
Bank Connect (optional)
Bank Connect lets you link a bank account and fetch its booked transactions instead of importing a file. It is off until you turn it on, and it relies on two third parties: Enable Banking Oy (Espoo, Finland), an account information service provider registered with and supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority, which handles the connection to your bank; and the Stack'd server, which relays the data to your device without storing it. You give consent on your bank's own pages, never inside Stack'd, and your bank credentials never pass through the app or the server. Access expires after the period your bank allows (usually 90 to 180 days) and must then be renewed; banks also limit how often data can be refreshed. Every fetch is shown to you for review before anything is saved. Availability depends on your bank and on the provider and is not guaranteed. You may disconnect a bank at any time from the app, which revokes the access.
-
Bank Connect subscription
Bank Connect requires a paid subscription, billed by Apple or Google through your store account at the price shown in the app. It renews automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time in your store's subscription settings, and the current period runs to its end. Refunds are handled by the store under its own rules. When a subscription ends, refreshing stops at once; your bank connections are kept for 14 days so a renewal picks up where you left off, and are then revoked. Transactions already imported stay in the app. Apart from Bank Connect and the optional Stack'd Pro unlock described next, every feature of Stack'd is free.
-
Stack'd Pro (one-time purchase)
The free plan includes up to two wallets and the categories the app ships with. Stack'd Pro is an optional one-time purchase that lifts both limits for good: as many wallets as you need, and categories of your own. It is billed once by Apple or Google through your store account at the price shown in the app; it is not a subscription and never renews. You can restore it at any time on any device signed in to the same store account. Refunds are handled by the store under its own rules. Data you already have is never hidden or deleted, and only creating more is limited on the free plan.
-
Your data, your responsibility
All data lives only on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups: use the CSV export in Others & Settings. Uninstalling the app, clearing your browser's site data, or using Factory Reset permanently deletes all data, and no one (including the developer) can recover it. You are responsible for the lawful use of any statements you import or accounts you link: only accounts you are entitled to hold.
-
No warranty
Stack'd is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy of calculations, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
-
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any loss or damage, including financial loss or loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
-
Third-party names
Bank names appear in the app as labels you enter, as file metadata you import, or in the institution list provided by Enable Banking. Stack'd is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by any bank or financial institution, and is not a party to the agreements between you and your bank, Enable Banking or the app stores.

Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated together with app updates. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version; continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
